Your son should be proud of reaching the final, and I am sure he will be once the immediate emotions have gone. Im sure he will come back next year stronger for that experience.
Losing in a final will be good preparation for when he is playing in the hoops mate. I hope he isn't taking it too badly, but I'd bet that he wasn't smiling at the end of the match .......
Had a face like thunder mate!! Doesn't like losing! Was a lot happier after we talked about it and he realises what a great achievement it was to get to the final. I was bursting with pride watching him walk out at the start......pity it went tits up after that!
