My friend just turned vegan

And is really starting to piss me off, it's only been a week. Now they're always talking absolute bollocks about 'science' that they know nothing about and how they'll always be healthier than me.

we're not herbivores, we must consume animal or we'll go mad and die.

It doesn’t matter what you eat provided you have enough protein, fat, vitamins, minerals and carbohydrates in your diet. We are omnivores which means we can eat all types of food. We do not have to eat meat.

 

there is no vegan source of B12, so, yes we do have to consume animal.

 

Got one of them working in the same office as me.

Constantly going on about what she's eating for lunch, what she had for breakfast or whatever.

Constantly going on about the ****ing gym. Going "oh god I'm sore because I've been at the gym oh why do I do it to myself oh hahah of well at least I'm healthy hahaha"

No ****er in the office can drum it into her skull that nobody cares and god knows we've tried.

I could not care less what people eat or drink , it's their life their body .

They can get it manufactured.

may have unpleasantly treated animals on the path
to getting the product to a form safe for human

there's nothing a vegan hates more than an ex-vegan who had to start eating meat again for health reasons, of which there are thousands upon thousands. They get visciously attacked online, probably because vegans have ****ed their brain chemistry by not eating meat and have lost the ability to think coherently.

And that is the crux of it, it's the f***ing preaching. It's possible it wouldn't bother me so much if I didn't know a lot of what they say has no grounding in actual facts. I think there will be a falling out soon, lol, so far I have bitten my tongue, but I can only do that for so long, so I am arming myself.

Anyone see the irony of hating the vegans that lecture everyone about diet on a thread that is lecturing how annoying it is to know a vegan? Ern, got news for you, your friends diet is none of your business. If he/she has become annoying, don't hang out with them.

It's sad, but that could be the way it goes, I'm not one to bite my tongue for too long.

 

I run a health food business so I come into contact with a lot of people eating a Vegan diet. Don't really know what the Vegan bashing is all about to be honest. It's just people trying to make healthy choices and live according their ethics. Would you slag off a Muslim in the same way because they don't eat Pork ?

 

There is no Vegan bashing.

There is, however, a bunch of uppity, self righteous idiots, dictating to people what they should and shouldn't eat and labelling people monsters because they do not adhere to their version of "ethics". That has been veganism in my experience.
If you are vegan, great, I don't really care.
