Match thread.........wife to be......mmmmmm

;)

I hope she realises how lucky she is to have us as your friends!

<whistle>

Just take a look at the table at the moment, if nothing changes, the bottom 3 are 5 points adrift. A win keeps us clear of that at the moment, and in contact with 10-15th, which is where I'd like to see us spend most of the season. Drop points now and we're the target for the bottom 3. No pressure lads!

And it looks like that's the situation. Great win today!!!

Heaps the pressure onto the bottom 3, QPR vs Reading is going to be a game both desperately need to win.

Woeful crossing from Pilks again today. Good skills to win or retain the ball but the balls 'into' the box and corners were shocking.
Snodders only marginally better. Where have our dangerous crosses all gone?

Apart from Snodders's great cross for the goal I would tend to agree. Our crossing has not been great. Then again, we were up against the tallest team in the league so you have to push the crosses to the limits to get them right, understandable that they would go wrong.

I also think that while Morison's off the pitch, we've looked best playing the ball on the ground. Holt is great at the little flick on's and I think it suits Pilk's and Snodders's style s

I think Pilkingtons crossing was better than Snodgrass's (although there was few) with the exception of the goal. I also felt that Snodgrass's crossing with his right foot was better than with his left foot!

He (Hughton) added: “It’s an area that we haven’t done well enough in this season, especially with the delivery of Robert Snodgrass and Anthony Pilkington.

I have to say I've been much more impressed with E.Bennett than Pilks so far this season. Shame he didn't get a chance today.
