You're spot on RER and until the transition is complete, we will struggle for goals. I remember Fox playing exctly the same through ball for Jackson for our 2nd against Peterborough in the cup last year. I think one of the problems is that better defenders are more aware of this type of ball and try to cut it out. With training though, our midfied should be able to play the through ball more often and more successfully. Our 'goals for' is beginning to look a lot more healthy - just a pity our 'goals against' is so horrendous!!!
We've scored in each of our last 5 games which suggests we're moving in the right direction. And 3 of those games were wins! And only 2 at home! It all suggests we're getting there. If we can just make it so we don't look so nervous at the back we'll be sorted!
