Being in League one again has proved to be more difficult than expected. Yet to win this season, its becoming increasingly painful watching a side who were so used to winning last season struggle to take maximum points from a match. We are conceding a lot of goals, and its not as if they're 'worldies', the majority of them have been really soft cheap goals. Maybe its time to break up the Barrett/Legge partnership. Both were superb last season, but have struggled this year because neither have pace. Which brings me onto my next point.

Callum Davies was fantastic when he played alongside Adam Barrett last season. Why not renew that partnership? It would make even more sense if Leon Legge's injury causes him to miss next week or maybe even longer. Letting Davies go out on loan would be a mistake. Next week's game at Coventry is a big game and also a tough one. This is the team I think would give us the best chance of winning our first game of the season (be prepared for some surprises):

Nelson

Harrimann Davies Barrett Martin

Linganzi

Hollands Whelpdale

Weston McDonald German

Subs: Howard, Kedwell, Bayo, Dack, McKain, Allen, Gregory.

It would be handy if we brought in a player or two during the week, a defender/winger perhaps. It will click, keep believing we WILL be in league one, I certainly think we will be!
