Sorry I haven’t been around these past few days. I have become more and more involved in Political Activism and some Societies I have joined. Will keep it off here. But I don’t like the way the world is going, so instead of sitting on my hands moaning about it, I have decided to do my little bit.

I had wondered @Dick Plumb1 if your theatre commitments were taking centre stage (if you'll pardon the expression)...

I probably see the world in a similar way, but it's important to escape from it when possible. In your case the theatre, in my case music and reading. The 90 minutes on Saturday too.

Dicky has left 606.

He has a lot on at the moment with his caring responsibilities, and he will be a big loss to this forum.

He also had irreconcilable differences with another poster on here. I won’t name the Member concerned, suffice to say he’s 4’8 and looks like Ronnie Corbett after a high powered jet wash.

Dicky is a proper Charlton man, and very knowledgeable with it. We have to respect his decision as caring responsibilities fall upon us all at some stage in our lives.

Didn’t you mention that the last time you met Sound As A Pound, you had to cut his food up into tiny pieces for him ?
