Plenty of crimes and mistakes are spur of the moment, and they're not all violence. Somebody's in a shop, they see something, they steal it without thinking ... spur of the moment crime. You're at a party, you're drinking, you end up sleeping with some girl who's not your girlfriend ... spur of the moment mistake. Taking drugs for months, maybe years, to gain advantage in competitive sport ... not spur of the moment. And if you think it shouldn't be punished for life, name a crime in sport that's more serious than drug cheating.
Hopefully he just gets a fine and thats the end of it, and it is true that we do need fighters in the team just so long as they do their talking on the pitch
And when you see all the things he had to go through to not be caught then it shows even more that drug cheats deserve a long ban
