selling to a rival at this stage of the season, in our current predicament, does not sound clever. Shouldn't be getting rid of players now, however average he's been. A couple of injuries and we'll be fooked. Pardew will probably have him playing for Brazil by the end of the season.
Hmmm, hope we are doing this to get a quality replacement in as I saw enough to think he could develop and do a decent job for us in time. However I recognise the immediate needs in front of us! If we get an old has been in then poor move. Bet he does well for them.
I think the Frazier thing is on still but as a loan. Arry has said he is doing a lot of business on Monday. I suppose all this clearing out that is on the books (Mutch, SWP, Junior, Phillips, Adel), will allow us to buy someone...but who would want to come Frasier and Osvaldo do not want too
please log in to view this image Well at least we'd be getting most of our money back on him - he was never a really good fit for us (or fit). Could they possibly throw in Dwight Gayle with the deal?
Recoup what we can! We won't get as good an offer in the summer & we won't be able to afford the current wages next season.
If we get 4 million plus, good deal. Glad not got Campbell as part of the deal. Many Hull fans not impressed by him. Better using the money plus whoever else we can sell on to add quality to the squad.
We buy him. & he's gone in 6months ridiculous, says a lot about Harry & his scouts, didn't give the lad a chance.
You can bet we will reinvest this money on a player 28 or 29 at the absolute youngest who if we get relegated will be sold at a loss because we won't to get him off the wage bill and he doesn't fancy the championship Terrible business
Mutch hasn't impressed whilst playing for QPR but he's only been with us for 6 months and he's been injured for part of that time. He's young and I'd like to give him more of a chance to show that he really is worth what we paid for him. I think Campbell is dross: another workmanlike Championship striker who is never going to impress at the top level. In my opinion, it would be a very poor trade.
I'm a bit confused, Col. In an earlier post you repeat what you've consistently said about the player, i.e. you don't rate him. Like many people I thought he was going to be a good buy after putting in a few decent performances with Cardiff, but quickly came round to your way of thinking after a few lacklustre appearances for the Rs. Whilst he hasn't been helped by injuries and poor fitness, either, in this particular instance I don't blame Redknapp for moving him on if he's reached a similar conclusion himself. For all we know his attitude might suck too, so perhaps this will turn out to be a good piece of business. It makes a change to be selling players to Premier League teams again. Ignoring Taraabt's loan to Fulham, before Simpson went to Leicester I can't remember the last time an R was sold to a PL club.
Will probably end up with no new additions this window. Why always leave it to the deadline, either hoping to get a bargain or grab someone who's missed out on every other club
So Harry uses the excuse of having most of the Championship team for losing and then offloads one of his Summer signings meant to improve the squad at the first chance. Give him Real Madrid, he'd make them look like Blue Square fodder and then he'd sell Bale and Ronaldo on the cheap to get Defoe and Crouch in. Despair doesn't quite cover my sentiments.
