Ask your chief Inspector chum to show you which laws are being broken. I'd be interested to know what you can google up they say.

Don't need to Google

I already gave you a clue with the BNP. Do you not remember their case for not allowing ethnic minorities to join?

If the job description demands a specific gender/religion etc, it has to have special dispensation which needs to be specified

And last I checked you can't force women to walk on the opposite side to men in this country

Funnily enough being Muslim I have to believe and accept that other communities are allowed to have their own laws etc

a. You've posted nothing to prove it happens.
b. You've failed to post proof, despite your claiming to have checked it out, that it is illegal.

A London council has removed “unacceptable” posters instructing women which side of the road they should walk down.

The signs, which have "Women should please walk along this side of the road only" written in both Yiddish and English, were spotted along Stamford Hill in Hackney.

The Shomrim group, whose Jewish volunteers support policing in the area, said they were put up by an orthodox Jewish group during the Torah Procession earlier this week, in order to prevent men and women from the religious sect who are not married or related from touching.
