My boys are 6 and 3, and I can't wait to break out my 'Star Wars' ids. Yes I do have a vid player, had to buy one I've about 1500 films/tellies on vid in the loft! What do you do? Transfer it to DVD, that'll die out, you'll spend the rest of your life moving it from new format to new format!

Funny, i've introduced my son to 'Bottom' and at 17, he loves it! But i can imagine Terry and June not being funny anymore, but i loved it then.

If you never saw it, norway, I highly recommend it. There are a lot of online spoilers so read nothing and watch it if you can. It demands an open mind, but it's highly rewarding. The best ever TV, IMHO.

Spitting Image. Margaret Thatcher, in a restaurant with her Cabinet, orders food:
Thatcher: "A bloody steak for me"
    Waiter: "And the vegetables?"
Thatcher: "Oh, they'll have the same as me!" <laugh><applause>

Two tunes that still send a tingle down my spine are the Z-Cars theme, Johnny Todd, and the theme to Chariots of Fire. They are not my favourite tunes but they carry associations that are wonderful.

Sorry Hornette, I'm afraid I have never been able to take Meatloaf seriously ever since I heard him described as 'the Artist Formally Known as Mince'

Jesus, Bottom! Now that is what you call quality TV. I saw Bottom Live a few years back at the Colosseum. It was truly unbelievable. One of the funniest things I have ever seen.
