Matt Helders, top drummer. AM is far from pop. Suck it and See (previous album) wasn't great but this one is. A grower. Got an absolute **** load I could put on here if I had time.
I came in pissed one night and there was a live Arctic Monkeys gig on and I was blown away by some of his drumming tbh

Good frontman, that blastbeat drumming is so tiring to do. And pretty boring, doesnt get mixed up enough, its one pace which is flat out!

****ing hell, that explains it then. I went to sixth form in Bolton. No wonder I gravitated to their donk.
Great thread! One of my favourite bands ever, The Stone Roses... Captured a ****ing glorious moment beautifully.
A donk, for you amateurs, is sort of a short snippet of sound, "donk, donk, donk" its sort of a rhythm element to terrible dance music played at 150 beats per minute. Its hard to describe - I suggest you watch the above which has amused me and a lot of my friends on many occasions Literally the best documentary you will ever watch
In the donkumentary I posted above it states donk's heartland is in Burnley Don't you know your donk? Or Scousehouse?!
