I'll have a listen to Family, they sound like they are the sort of thing I'd like, right genre, right decade(ish). I'm surprised I've not heard them before, but I guess they split just before my musical tastes really formed. I probably was into Abba at the time :emoticon-0111-blush. I went from Abba as the first band I really bought any albums of, to ELO, briefly into punk, then settled on 70s rock. I've liked a lot of the grunge bands and Indie guitar bands since, but for me it doesn't get better than UFO/Schenker/Rush/Thin Lizzy/etc.

I remember somebody loaning me a UFO LP (shows my age) on a school lunchtime. Listened to it at home on my Elizabethan hi fi and promptly dolled off school that afternoon and went and purchased it. I am assuming we are talking about the same Phenomenonwith Rock Bottom, Doctor doctor etc?
Seen them twice at the Mecca.

After reading this post I dug out Argus , damn it's still bloody good.

Someone else metioned Roger Chapman , I think he's still touring.

Mate of mine saw him a couple of years ago and said he does a great set , RC wore a Leicester City shirt for the gig.
