'It is difficult to understand his motives, given he has been a director of Rangers Football Club since the year 2000. Throughout the period of his directorship, Dave King has attended and participated in regular board meetings, including those approving the annual audited accounts, received board papers quarterly, had full access to the executive management of the Club, and been privy to the same detailed financial and commercial information as every other board member.' Their is a lot more to come of this, watch the board members of the naughties era start falling over one and other to try and clear their names. Then it will be Celtics turn then that will leave the SPL to use teams that just want to play football.
Go bust, I read some were that Rangers going into any other division would cost Celtic about £8 million pound a year in lost revenue, don't know if true but one can dream, Then the mighty Hearts can sail the league until the big 2 come back
I think you will find, Celtic make more money out of Rangers than any other team in the SPL. Then you could have the lose of Sky contract that's another £1m, Then you have the original 2 games at celticpark, that could generate about £2m, Then their is their shirt sponsor will they want to support 1 Glasgow team, when they might not be getting the same coverage if no TV deal?
