SULLEY MUNTARI is set to perform a U-turn and join Sunderland - despite saying he would only sign for a London club.
The former Portsmouth midfielder was linked with a move to Sunderland this month but insisted he was not keen on a switch to the North East.

But sources in Italy have revealed that the Inter Milan star has given up on a move to the capital and will fly to England today to discuss a possible transfer to the Black Cats.

If those talks are successful, Muntari could sign in time to face champions Chelsea next Tuesday.

Morning All - Seems like a few people I know here!! Quick bit of info for you - I passed the AOL at 8:50 this morning and a camera crew were outside filming arrivals that I saw. Don't know who they were or if more than 1 crew. NOT saying a hive of activity but thought worth passing it on - is a Wed a regular day for SB/SAFC to host the journos??
