I'm off on a little scouting mission tomorrow, going to check on our new lad Ryan Bennett in the Posh v Hammers game at London Road. I'm up in the 'boro at the weekend on family business and managed to wangle a little jaunt to the game with a few of the lads. Should be a good un and an ideal test for Bennett against strikers we will almost certainly be facing a couple of times next season.
I've seen him a couple of times previously in the flesh and also on the box a few times, always rated him highly and he stood out as one of the clas acts on the pitch - he even won me a few quid when I had him as 33/1 first scorer last season and unsurprisingly he became my favourite player from my 'second team' so to say I was over the moon when we signed him is an understatement! Hopefully he'll put on a good show tomorrow (even though I think the 'ammers will take the points) and be ready to hit the ground running when he finally gets the o' yella shat orn.
