    'Arry has also said that there is no truth in links with the spuds. Sounds like usual agent tactic of using teams such as NUFC as a stalking horse, to attract bidders for the player from "bigger clubs".

    You're right, he isn't, hence why we're trying to buy one!

    Also, he hasn't scored 4 goals from DM, he scored all his goals whilst playing on the LW. <doh>

    No reason for the facepalm, you need to chill out mate, you always type like you're pissed off or just being a ****.

    Despite the fact that he was a LW, he couldn't go forward very often, and was still playing a very defensive role to protect Raylor, so even though he was technically a LW, he was basically doing the job of a left sided defensive midfielder.

    But still, It's good to have different types of CM's, one that can create things, one natural defensive midfielder, and one that can run with the ball and work hard.

    Jonas is good on the ball and can make good runs forward, and he's a lot more mobile than the average defensive mid. He's got canny pace and skill.

    He was playing as a defensive winger, doesn't mean his scoring record of 3 (I don't think it was 4) all season is particularly impressive imo, what about all those games with Santon where they were both going forward?
