Talking about what players like Mukiele are doing for Sunderland, it's a reciprocal thing where we give the chance to shine and to enjoy playing again in some cases. The new signings look like they are loving it.

Him and Alderete are just superb they are every bit PL pairing. I’ve just read we absolutely are not going back for Lucumi and I’m glad, absolute waste of time with them 2, Ballard and the really unfortunate Geertruida who looks so calm and quality when we see him.

Absolute robberies the pair of them and you have to love it, but it needs reiterating how PL Dan looks as well. He’s stepped up without a blink.

He is a very good CB and a constant goal threat at set pieces.

I wasn't sure how Ballard would take to the prem but he's smashed it, it's massively impressive how well he's playing and how at home he is. Beast at both ends of the pitch and I don't think it will matter in the slightest who we're playing, he'll just raise his game.

I think Mukiele is probably our best player but I'm loving what Ballard's doing.
