The OP's initial claim was that Mohammed was a warmonger, basically. The thread deviated from his point. He's not the starting point, though. Christmas means different things to different people. I doubt that the meaning is religious to most people in the UK any more. It's seen as a season to spend time with family and show appreciation of those that you love.
By that token, why post at all? Not particularly, but I meant that I didn't care what people think of me, rather than what they think in general. I'd prefer that people based their opinions upon all the available information, though.
Because I don't like being misrepresented. I find racists to be vile, so I don't want to be associated with them, even on an anonymous forum. I don't dislike Muslims. I disagree with Islam in the same way that I disagree with Christianity, but you don't get many people discussing that religion on here, bar the Sectarian threads, which I don't think are really religious. I'm not. I'd rather not see my opinions misrepresented or misinterpreted, though.

Not sure why you're struggling with that, to be honest. I've not suggested that Christians can't celebrate Christmas. Why do you always read what you want to read, rather than what's there? I said that I don't believe that most people in the UK treat it as a religious thing any more. The root of the festival isn't Christian, either. It's a Pagan winter festival.
