That is more like it.......

Sissoko reminds me of a cross between viera and yaya toure. Looks a class signing.

Cabaye seems more comfortable in that midfield and his strike was class.

Goufrann looks good also.

All good so far!
 
Sissoko is an absolute stud! Why did we only sign him to a 4.5 year contract!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Gouffran looks like an upgraded version of Obertan.

obviously too early, but if he ever came close to that, it would be one our best signings ever.
 
Cracking half... Sissoko looks class, Gouffran sharp.. defense 10x better without the lanky tree elf...

THis isnt over yet though..
 
Our centre midfield of Sissoko and Cabaye backed up with Tiote and Anita is now looking damn good and provides depth.

Our defence at full strength ' Santon, Colo, Taylor/ Mbiwa, Debuchy' is also fantastic but our problems have been actually getting our first team onto the pitch and our back-ups are still pretty bad in places.

Still think our wingers are hit-and-miss (though Ben Arfa is class often enough) and our season is likely to be defined by whether Cisse hits form. If he does anything near how he did end of last season we'll finish mid-table. If he stutters and misfires then we're still looking at a relegation fight tbh.
 
WOW - I have never seen a team crumble like we do in second halves of football.... Its just horrible to watch. Its pure tactics!
 
Pardews subs again are woeful...

He puts a striker on for a defensive midfielder when we need strength in midfield.
He then puts on a defensive midfielder on.... for a striker?????/

THEN - Puts on a defender for a defensive midfielder????????????

IS HE ****ING STUPID?
 
That 2nd half was the worst 45 mins of football I can remember us playing all season, I would love to know what Pardew told them at half time.

3 points though, onwards and upwards and all that bollocks ...
 
Sissoko, cabaye and tiote/Anita. Midfield 3 with gouffran/marv and Ben arfa on the wings till the end of the season me thinks
