Bit late to the party… I enjoyed the first 20 laps, but unlike a typical Austrian Grand Prix , which often builds back to a crescendo, it all fizzled out after the first stops. Good win from Norris, who had a margin on Oscar all weekend and I suspect would have won even if Oscar had found a way ahead. He’s got a run of “Norris tracks” from here to the summer break and a real opportunity to get back on even terms in the championship fight by then. Some huge gaps between the teams this weekend, which hasn’t been typical for this year. Ferrari look to have made a real step forward, although losing Verstappen and the fact that it look like Merc made some poor setup choices, means we don’t have sufficient context to fully validate that. Nice to see Lawson have a good weekend finally and Bortoleto getting his first points. Yuki and Williams, had horrible weekends and Colapinto looks far from the driver who first stepped into a Williams last year. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him rotated out again after the summer break.
