what a beautiful man rickie is, and to think people doubted how he would step up

As the players were walking off the pitch today I saw Lambert have a massive go at Guly, the bloke is so passionate, right from the start you could see how much he wanted to win this game.

That's what we all love about him, he's as passionate about Saints as the average Saints fan.

He scored today, but watching on tv he did **** all as far as im concerned , as did guly and the rest of them. Lallana played well, and yes we played better than them, but as far as im concerned another **** away day performance!! Lets get real! we need to liven the **** up, maybe its the stella talking but, but for **** sake boys we need to start winning away from home!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can safely say to you that it is indeed the Stella talking.

If not, then you're either blind, have no football knowledge, or a ****.

Lambert was a beast today, Lallana was quality, Schneiderlin was impressive bar finishing, Hooiveld was solid and Guly was ****e.

You may just not have paid enough attention - Lambert was very, very good today. Every ball towards him he won and brought in, but was unproductive with a final ball because of a lack of movement from Guly. Did what he was meant to do very well.

Yep. Agreed

Him and Jos were great today.

soton saint

I admit I had reservations re him when he joined us but its not just his passion and goal-scoring...he has a very deft touch, lay-off and vision are superb...the main reason, from the playing staff that we are top of the league. Top man.

If we get to PL, Lambert will stay with us. He wouldn't interest a top 6 side and Cortese would resist all offers from others. Now if Adkins should leave....
Sorry, couldn't finish that as I had to have a quick lie down...doesn't bear thinking about.
