ok 1 at a time, I mistook the word performance for appearance ( was doing 2 /3 things at the same time, on 2 computers, describing the appearance of torrodian sandstone in the NW Scotland geopark. so having appearance on the brain I took my mistaken interpretation "appearance" ( which relates to times they are on the pitch or go somewhere to do something like open a shop/fete or something) and took the alternative meaning to what appearance might be, in this case in the way something looks. Then commented they,the players,look funny to be wearing trainers with a suit and tie. end of
I must admit there is always a problem of understanding when a player wears a suit and tie with trainers up a sandstone hill in a NW Scotland geopark.
