Many a true word spoken in jest....

Pardew will not be sacked this week. Neither will he be sacked after an expected defeat away to Arsenal, despite it being a massacre. However, another home defeat by Cardiff will prove to be the tipping point as Ashley finally sacks him. Shola will emerge as the surprise appointment to replace him for the final game of the season away to Liverpool. In a surprise move, Shola will drop Remy and play himself as the lone striker in a 7-2-1 formation designed to strangle the attacking threat of Liverpool. Somehow, against all odds, this new look formation will hang on to 0-0 until injury time in the second half when Shola will be released on the break from a Liverpool corner. Amazingly he will beat three Liverpool defenders as he dribbles into the box, only to trip over the ball, running past it apparently wasting the chance. However, the defender chasing him doesn't expect this turn of events and runs into the ball, kicking it against Simon Mignolet who can only parry it onto the head of Shola, who is now so slow that he hasn't even hit the deck yet after tripping over the ball. The ball bounces off Shola's head into the Liverpool net to secure a shocking 1-0 win at Anfield and deprive Liverpool of the title. So impressed by this result is Mike Ashley that he offers Shola a 5 year contract as player manager, not realising that Shola always produces one bit of magic just as his contract is about to expire. The following season we are unbelieveably **** in every game apart from in the two derbies against Sunderland who scraped survival in the previous season. At the end of the season, despite being so ****e except against the mackams we somehow keep our place in the league - tho nobody looking at us play can understand how. Shola just smiles knowing that he has moulded his team in his own image.

Roland's suggestion of Eddie Howe is growing on me by the day. I watched him on Soccer AM and he seemed like a really nice fella. His love of A-Ha was slightly disturbing but no ones perfect. He spoke very well and seems to have a very clear idea of how he wants the game played. Positive attacking football, on the deck tika taka style. He also discussed the need for a regular stream of academy players (so does Pards to be fair)

The deal was sealed watching the round up on Monday when they said:

"Bournemouth found themselves 2-0 down, but Eddie Howe tweaked his tactics at half time and they came out a different team. The changes nearly brought a goal immediately, and they showed real fight, ending up snatching a 2-2 draw."

I thought "f**king hell what's all this players showing fight and managers changing games"

I don't want to be bored by a Moyes or Pulis etc trying to stop the oppo before anything else.

I do want him, that is the problem. He has been working long hours at Everton and Man U for so many years now, I'm lonely. I want someone to cuddle up to on an evening, someone to share a glass with, someone to laugh with about the day just passed. More than anything I need his abnormally large tongue to moisten by rapidly drying clout. The coochie has seen so little loving that it'll heal over soon leaving me like a barbie doll.

Gus Poyet might have some spare time soon. Or there is always Sir Alan Pardew. He's popular with wives.

You don't fool us. Your affair with Fergie is in the open now. We know he only suggested David take over at Man United to keep him out if the way, while Fergie popped over to pay you a special visit.

10 months is not a lot of time. However I do think it was never going to work for Moyes there. Just a bad fit in terms of style. Very much a stop the opposition manager which doesn't sit well with the ethos there over the years.

I think the fact that Spurs are hovering around for a new manager has forced their hand a little. I think they may have designs on the same manager (perhaps Van Gaal)

Agree. I hate the whole thing if sacking managers quickly before they have had a chance to build and develop the club (not just the first team). However Moyes was never the right choice to follow Fergie.

Actually, I hope he does have a pair because one day I'll catch up with him and kick him in them.

Anyway, if Pardew had any balls, he'd resign.

    Game of Thrones fan?

More naked flesh on show last night. Wasn't so keen on the two blokes necking on but there has been a fantastic amount of titty on show.

Pards will turn it around next season. You might as well all cling to that hope, Mike's cock is so far up his arse, he can tickle his tonsils with his bell end.

Moyes was at Everton for 11 years and won nothing.

He lost 1 of every 3 games he managed at Manchester United.

I would prefer to keep Pardew than consider employing Moyes! <yikes>
