Once Ryan Giggs wins their last three home games against Norwich, Sunderland and Hull then surely they will give him the job permanently. #Makeusdream

Giggs has ruled himself out as a long term manager at ManU stating that he wants to spend more time with his brothers family.
Any sign of Fergie yet? I expect he'll rip Utd to pieces for sacking Moyes and give the fans a bruising for not backing him as he ordered them to last may. #moyeswassetup
Fergie told him when he signed, apparently, not to worry about trying to emulate him by winning the league straight away, finishing 2nd would be a good start. Moyes mis-understood - he finished every game 2nd!
Hmmm. You not banned from tge united board astro? Wouldnt be logging out for a look now would you? #desperate
Sir Alex Ferguson is said to have played a part in the discussions which resulted in the removal of Moyes, his chosen successor, although he did not take the final decision to terminate the 50-year-old's six-year contract, sources said. United had hoped Moyes would prove a long-term appointment but became increasingly worried as they lost 10 times in 22 games since January 1, a far worse run of results than in his first few months in charge Read more at http://www.espn.co.uk/football/sport/story/301809.html#KsQ7i6wOZEl2Y7Yf.99 Considering Fergie chose the man that cost the club's shareholders big money, will cost them lost CL revenue etc etc you'd think the last person they'd consult about his sacking would be him, if Van Gaal gets the job Fergie will get his big red nose pushed out big time.
No - you have this all wrong, Been to bookies today to place tenner on utd to win title next sesason, because they arent in europe odds are not available, betting suspended, as they are nailed on to win the league
Does anyone think that David Moyes has been given an easy time for the media for his time at Man United? If a foreign manager had done as badly as he has would the reactions be so polite? For example AVB had Spurs on course for a record points total and was only just outside the top four and got sacked while having to integrate several new players with no Premier League experience. Has the fact that he's a 'good bloke' resulted in people making excuses for him? I do not hold anything against him but surely the media as a whole seems to be cutting him a lot of slack when the reality is that he failed so spectacularly? Excuses: 1. Players not good enough. - This has been banded about many times but the fact remains that they won the title last season by 11 points. 2. Ageing players. - This would again hold weight if the same players had not won the league 3 months earlier. It's often quoted as being a year when its only the following season. Do players really age that much over summer? 3. Flawed Squad. - See above ^ 4. Not enough time. - How much time do you need? It has been said before but it is worth re stating it. Take Brendan Rodgers in his first season, while only finishing 7th, you could see after January that the team was improving. Their post January form was Top 4 form. Players were playing well and the team had started to click as a unit. Good buys brought new life to the team who were not only winning, but winning with style. Compare this to Moyes who's team was if anything becoming worse with each game. 5. Needed to purchase his own players. - He spent over nearly 60million pounds on two players who have contributed very little to the team. On top of this he did not seem to know how to get the best out of these players or where to play them. Fellani has his best season last season playing as a 'number 10 target man' role and Mata plays best as a no10, also you have Rooney who wants to play no10 and has just signed a 300k a week contract. He has been linked with Fabregas who plays best as a no10. Seriously how much money would he need to spend? All the excuses that people give him do not hold up at all. I find the whole thing rather bizarre given how much stick certain managers receive from the press in comparison when doing a pretty solid job.
It's Man Utd Remember Phil McCunty et al. still had them in the title race while in 7th position It was very hard for the media to let go but it finally happened with the Olympiakos game, and 2 months later he was sacked
