That's put a dampener on an otherwise fine day.

Wonder who they'll turn to? My money's on Pearson.

Devastating news. He had real potential for long term damage.

Reports that he went without a pay-off.
Relegation was satisfaction enough by all accounts.

Kevin Phillips being linked. Their messiah taking over would have real potential for hilarity. They'd follow him into the abyss.

I hope they don't get Pearson. He's a pretty good manager going by what he helped put together at Leicester.

Yeah. He has a bit about him. Mad as a *****ose though so he would provide some comedy. It's about the money really though - will Short foot the bill. I think he might because his asset is currently worth **** all. Sadly the more I think about it, the more I think there is a decent chance they might bounce back. I just can't see him running them on a shoestring because regardless of who is manager they won't get promoted. He wants the PL money.

There are a lot of battle hardened teams in that division plus the problems are apparently behind the scenes according to previous managers.

Talen off a mates FB page....

Doesn't look good for Sunderland next season, Moyes said he'll stay IF funds were available. After a meeting with Mr. Short he walks away from Sunderland (not sacked). You don't need to be Albert Einstein to work out why...

They've got to hope that the HMRC investigation doesn't get as far as Wearside...

...just imagine the fallout when HMRC discover all their accounts are calculated in base-12.

Rat Boy is favourite for the job.

    He'll take them down.

Mackems are jacking off to this potential news.
