A bad season is getting beat by better teams or by bad luck. This goes much deeper than that, good players looking totally clueless on the pitch, no team shape or tactics at all, players getting in each others way or failing to make themselves available for a pass. There is no direction to the team and many of the players look unsure of what they are supposed to be doing. How can you expect to relieve pressure when all ten outfield players are pulled back for a corner or free kick, even if you win the ball there is nobody to pass to. I am gutted today, i can live with losing 3-0, i could have lived with 6-0 if we had lost goals because we were pouring forward trying to score but when we lose with a pathetic performance like today then it is time to act.
Once again, arrogance from pathetic, moaning, glory 'supporters' Being Man U doesn't entitle success. I like 50 million other UK residents are glad of someone new doing well. And for the record I think that Moyes is the best manager to have ever lived.
well ..for one I don't think that your (proven winners or good players ) in defence are good anymore . ( to old or just are not good enough).honest view.. basicly yous cant keep the ball out the back of your net.. once you s concede first confidence goes ..but really good players should have confidence in there own ability .. at this level. don't yous think ..so maybe its there attitude. does not t matter what manager is in charge .. this will need sorted which I think yous will do ..
I was getting quite fed up with all the calls for Moyes to be sacked. You have to give him time to implement his ideas. Having watched the full games away to Olympiakos and at home to Liverpool, I would suggest that 2 shots on target as the combined total for those games, is nowhere near good enough. The players look utterly lost and completely devoid of inspiration. To think that Manchester United are little better than my beloved Newcastle United at this point, makes me feel quite sure that David Moyes will be very lucky to last out the season. Pretty horrific considering that Man Utd are the current PL Champions
You are missing the point, we don`t expect success, we expect effort and exitement and 11 players on the field who look reasonably like a team who have played together before. We expect a plan or recognisable style of football, we want to walk away from a 3-0 loss saying that was a good game to watch. We have none of this at the moment.
If the table stays as it is today is this the biggest position drop from Champions the following season? If so then Moyes surely would struggle to maintain his position?
