Fergie's office is upstairs, they have eachothers phone numbers and surely the former manager knew Moyes's defensive traits before he poached him from Everton.

Plus Fergie is only a few rows behind him at every match.:bandit:

Moyes is as a lot of people expected truly talentless(though many of us were too proud to say that SAF was wrong in choosing him)

Even if we forget about his tactical knowledge or lack of, he clearly can not man manage anyone in the team.

He was the wrong choice and still is the wrong choice. I could understand if he was given a one year contract as a stop gap but giving him a 5 year contract (was it 6?) is absolutely ridiculous to a man who has achieved nothing in well over ten years in managment

    Disgracefull

Evra, Vidic, Luiz, Suarez, Torres, Carroll, De Jong, Sturridge and Ivanovic in the last eight seasons alone. All big signings, all signed by clubs struggling at a time, and almost all of which had a big impact for their clubs that season (the two obvious donkeys aside!).

January won't be a magic bullet for us, but we could certainly get a quality player or two in to give us a boost to the end of the season. Just as long as we can avoid breaking the British transfer record on an utter donkey we should be fine <ok>

I think Suarez will go to munich or barcelona in January. He is the only truly world class player that is not cup tied for the champions league

So averaging one big player in the whole League per year. Like I said, hardly any major signings.
And look who those players were signed from? not many CL clubs I would wager

The one big player that is not in the CL this January is Suarez, a nice 70 mill bid from Barca, madrid, barcelona, psg etc and liverpool will offload him

In last 8 of carling,in last 16 CL,only 5 points off top 4,had a far harder first third of the season than anyone else
Support your manager ffs, spoilt that's all it comes across as to me
Did anyone really expect Moyes to hit the ground running with this squad?
Could any other manager have won the league with that squad other than ferguson?
On his back after 13 games is just pathetic and you really should be ashamed

Agree with most of this except the far harder crap. Look where you dropped points, it wasn't all at the traditional top 4 clubs....

Its not the results, its the manner of it all.

Even when it looks like hes finally got the hang of it, he lines up ultra defensive and plays for the draw.

We beat Arsenal and have gone backwards, not forwards or even sideways.

Those saying support your manager etc etc. I have no doubt what so ever what your reactions would be to a similar occurrence at your clubs. We all saw it at Liverpool for example. Chelsea and City have had managers perform much better than Moyes currently is yet fans were screaming for heads to roll.

Truth is none of you are in a position to say **** all.

  18. Could have sworn Liverpool fans got stuck for supporting Kenny despite having a similar record to Woy at one stage despite using that exact argument #irony

You had plenty to say when Roy got his P45.<laugh>

There is no comparison between the Moyes situation and Hodgson, Moyes was in Cahoot's with Fergie and Utd behind the backs of EFC, he was chosen by his friend/Utds former manager and has received his backing.

Hodgson never took over a team of champions at LFC and asked for 10 games to prove himself, he got 20+ and took us backward and even into the bottom 3, Moyes on the other hand was given a 6 year contract at the reigning champions with the blessing of Fergie.

He'll be there for the long haul no matter what, so dig in and stay calm.<ok>
