For the 40,000 that turn up every week sure, they deserve better, but for the ones who **** off after conceding two no matter what the clock says, they deserve non-league football.
Ive always said......I dont blame those fans for walking out, I blame those fans for turning up in the first place.
I just don't get that mate. You pay all that money for a ticket then storm out when your team goes behind??? FFS why? The north east has always had great supporters, both the scum and us, leaving with half the game still to play is not doing your team any favours, get behind them and stop spitting your ****ing dummies out FFS.
Aye man United fans don't leave early. Remember you getting well beat of city years ago and loads **** off.
You lot do it every week, even when you're not 'well beat', that's the point. The stadium began to empty against City, after your lads had put in a very decent effort. By the time 80 mins come round your ground was half empty. You're obviously one of them who leaves early or you wouldn't have taken offence at my post.
I just dont understand why anybody would pay good money, knowing they are probably gonna watch utter garbage, then walk out when their fears are well and truly confirmed.
It's honestly like some fans want credit for turning up despite the **** you get served up, but **** their little knickers as soon as you mention the fact that half of them walk out. There's small elements of that at every club, but it seems disproportionate at the SoL, it's not just me noticing it, the pundits talk about it every weekend on SSN.
Not really 'end of', of course they can do what they want, but it doesn't mean others don't have the right to shame them. Your logic is you can pay good money for a dog, so you have every right to not feed it if you want.
I'll trust my judgement over your TV if it's all the same with you. Even if it was 75,000 tourists, which it's not, still the loudest
There's both sides of the stay/leave discussion, I'd just like to say that if the pundits are continually bringing it up, in fairness they could balance it by mentioning the fact that so many turn up in the first place, bearing in mind what has been endured not just this year but for season upon season
Nah mate, says a former season card holder and someone who attends every home game when he's home. Now jog on you illiterate ****wit and go shave your ginger ball sack.
TBF the SOL is a right pain to get away from after the match if you have your own transport mate, so most punters get away early to bet the traffic. Hence after 80 minutes you see them leaving the stands, but go down into the concourse and they are usually stood there watching on the monitors. What gets my back up is that as soon as we go a couple of goals down you get the mass exodus, why FFS?
If I got into the habit of leaving after 80 minutes to beat the traffic I would have to start thinking whether it would be worth turning up at all.
