I think we should all take a step back here and appreciate what a great job David Moyes has done up to this point <applause> <applause>

I get that this is just a take the piss out of scum thread and I'm all for that, but to get serious quickly, I'm not sure that is true. Yes the squad was/is ageing badly and red nose left it in a bad way. BUT, Moyes spent big money in positions he didn't really NEED to fill or at the very least prioritise, they needed to buy a world class defender and maybe a winger as well as a ball playing CM but instead they spent approx. combined 60m on 2 players who both are utilised best playing off the striker and because thats also Rooney's best position (Kagawa is also great in that position) so they are both played out of position. Thats just insanity from Moyes imo. Fellaini was never really good enough to make the step up anyway and to use Mata in the way that he does should be a crime, fantastic player and no scum fan has even seen it.

Anyway, lets just hope that this isn't true and Moyes gets next season also, maybe he'll waste even more money to now keep them in mediocrity.

I was never sure Moyes was good enough for the task he's been given.

And I have to say, this thread reflects badly on Leeds supporters, crowing because they are mid table and out of the European places.

Shame on you all, where's your ambition? Talk about a job half done.

I am a man who still remembers vividly their last relegation season. There were tears in many of their supporters eyes, and for sure in mine. But in all honesty, is Moyes really good enough to achieve that?

I think they have lacked vision (no pun intended) choosing Moyes, ok he has a track record of finishing 8th or 9th, and that's progress, but when its a top job like this you need a top man, someone with the kudos of achieving a previous relegation, and who managed to whine to the heavens that, of all the people in this world, he was not the one to be blamed.

Step forward, our very own, Colin.

Spent money on positions that did not need priority, needed a winger and ball playing midfielder and playing people out of position sound familiar? He is doing as bad a job for them as McD is for us yet some Leeds fans are saying give McD longer, it amazes me.

I think this season has taught us how **** Moyes is as a manager. I think we've given him too much slack at Everton using a lack of funds as an excuse

Ferret face is going to take over,

i would like to wish him well in picking the side to continue the slide!
Also the squad whilst in training need to keep an eye on him, ferrets are notorious for venturing into holes, in this case WAGS holes may be targeted. <laugh>

You just would not get tired of slapping his ugly mug, would you!!

McD didn't spend over 60m on 2 players though. I get he still spent money without selling and I also get its all relative to the league and positioning of the club but even so 60m on 2 players not needed that both play the same position as your current best player is just stupid and McD didn't do that with his transfers. We needed to buy practically a whole squad in the summer whereas scum only need to buy perhaps 2 or 3 players every window and slowly replace their ageing players with younger quality ones. All in all, McD has done a bad job at Leeds and no fan can really deny that any more I think (the debate really is whether he should remain) but the jobs where entirely different and in no way comparable imo.
