He has to change his attitude, like when he does his press conferences, he tells the reporters - '' we'll try and win the next game.'' We're Manchester United not Everton ( no offence ).
Oh ok, so if he changes his attitude in conference's he'll appease the owners, players and supporters despite the bad results. Brilliant insight matth.
Your replies are so generic. Literally zero thought goes into them. Anyway, are you still moyes biggest ball gobbler?
I think most of us Chelsea fans gave Rafa some credit. He did enough to steady the ship and earnt us some silverware (albeit only the Europa League), and got us back into the top 3 after finishing 6th the season before. So we must give him credit for that. Although all he basically did was was put two rows of 4 out with everything going to Torres through Mata, pretty simple and wasnt going to break any records but it kept us a float until we could get a decent manager in. And also do you not think that rival fans might have an ulterior motive for wanting Moyes to stay?!
I never said they were alike, but its hypocrisy for someone who never supported an under pressure manager at Chelsea to advise Utd to do the opposite based on a manager who's won **** all compared to one that had won silverware in two countries.
Get a sneaky feeling moyes might be the next liverpool manager. He knows the city and is popular with liverpool fans, he turned around everton and witg rodgers likely to atep up and join chelsea at some point, the door for moyes to return to Merseyside might be perfect for all. Hes a 'better than midtable' manager and Liverpool are a 'better than midtable' club. Sure hes failed at United but a step down to liverpool might be perfect for him.
But there's a reason for that, we hated Rafa before he entered the club. It's not hypocrisy in the slightest mate. I won't deny Rafa is a good manager and I'm certainly grateful for what he did during his time here, but I'll never warm to the bloke.
I agree that his comments have hardly exuded confidence & if he's mirroring that tone behind the dressing room door, then I'd imagine that's a pole apart from his predecessors attitude.
Of course its hypocrisy Drogs to tell Utd to give a manager a chance when the poster I replied to has a live thread on the Chelsea board called Mou vs Rafa+Moyes.
There's no point continuing if you can't see the difference between already disliking/not wanting an incoming manager and not.
So Utd should give a manager out of his depth a chance while Chelsea fans in general were opposed to giving a previously successful manager a chance, liking him or not has nothing to do with it Drogs, the club's welfare must come first. We wanted Hodgson out for similar reasons to Utd supporters warning Moyes out but if Hodgson had a track record of success in England he'd have got a lot longer than he was given by us.
Nonsense. This United team with Ferguson would compete no doubt but only because of his relationship with the players and inside club knowledge etc. Put Klopp in charge of this current team and you'd still be behind at least City and probably us too. City and Chelsea had problems with managers last year yet that is disregarded as a reason you won the league, yet cited as the main reason why you're struggling this year. Having your cake and eating it me thinks.....
Doubtful. Fans aren't that bothered how well a manager has done at previous clubs, just how well they do when in charge of their own team. The fact the majority of Chelsea fans wanted Rafa out even after he'd done a good job, just shows that there was no hypocrisy involved at all, just someone the fans didn't want or generally warm to.
Wasn't the fact he was mates with Ferguson and wouldn't say a bad word against United a huge factor? Something Moyes certainly hasn't mirrored. If anything this is more similar to Chelsea fans' hatred of Benitez. Moyes is being based on his performance, or lack of it so far, alone.
