ok, i had a play and this place wont accept anything.

however i have found something else on here which may help but i cant seem to figure it out. you might!! in your icons above where you select font, bold, underline, colour etc etc, next to the pics and video icon, you have a icon called 'insert'. in that you have 'code'. in that you can select under language html. from that point, everything i have tried doesnt seem to be accepted. this is where i run out of patience and shout HELLLLLLP pretty plese <laugh><ok>

I don't understand Guy. You just click on the smileys to add them to a post

Struggling with this one Guy. So if you reply to a post, type some characters and then click on a smiley, it somehow places the smiley before the "XXX said" (as in post 27?

PS. I added the smiley at the end of your post

I found someone on the site who has XP at work and they have not encountered that problem Guy. All I can suggest is next time you are using XP try it again and see what happens. Which style were you on at the time? .
