As much as I want 'Pool to beat Arsenal, today, I have to go with my head and accept it's going to be a turkey-shoot for the Gunners.

Goofy, whilst looking world-class against insignificant sides, simply cannot mix it with the big boys. And whilst Sturridge might fare better against the better sides, your midfield is going to get butchered when it comes up against Arsenal's silky passing and inter-play. Gerrard will probably resort to his usual strong-armed thuggery as his frustration grows, and I can see you conceding a lot of set-pieces on the edge of your box.

If you can keep it down to 0-3 I think you will have done very well, lads.

Lol.

Through the tears HIAG and the other Spurs supporters have realized we are indeed in the miix for 4th and along with the blueshite it won't be easy for them to claim it just because the mancs are in freefall, tomorrow a draw would be boss, but should Spurs grab an unexpected win they need a 20-0 win to even things up.

It would be embarrassing if spurs got 4th. Such poor football and negative tactics and goal difference.

It would be amusing if Spurs get a CL slot after what has been a quite poor season.
Perhaps Nemesis in action for being denied by so little when the team has played far better.

Of course what it would say about other clubs (yet again) would be hilarious.

Our target is still Arsenal, Liverpool have moved on this season and IMO will finish at least 3rd and as I said elsewhere they started to play this rather good football towards the end of last season and have produced some great performances this season. Much rather it were Liverpool than Chelsea or City.

As for Arsenal we are hoping they will finish 5th which is where they should have been for at least 3 seasons.

I always say Spurs should try to keep within 6 pts of the top 2, in order that a CL slot may be secured.
A bit more work needed to get there this season, but not futile (yet) .

No, it would be embarrassing for 'Pool if that happened.

'Pool is struggling to hold on to 4th spot, despite having one of their best seasons since your glory days, whilst we (if we beat Everton) are only three points behind 'Pool in what has been one of our worst seasons since the 80s.

Doesn't that tell you everything you need to know?

Have to say your target of topping Arsenal and them finishing 5th is hard to see in my opinion.

I think this season for your guys is about staying in the mix and maybe pinching 4th and basically setting yourselves up for next year.

With the new players bedding in I think next year you could be a real handle.

Trouble you have is what do you do if you have a wobble under Sherwood? He has no precedent for success as a manger and that could result in rash decision making from the top who could panic.

If this happens and you get yet another manager next year - then I'd write off that season too <ok>

Stability is key and not something that Spurs are too good at in recent years.

We'll only get stability at our club when we get rid of Levy.

Sherwoodie was a massive mistake, like AVB before him.

I cannot believe that we are a club that is prepared to spend £100 million on new players, but goes all "cheap-skate" when it comes to filling the most important of all positions - that of manager.

Levy is solely to blame for that, and most fans do blame him. Soon, it will be all of us.

Struggle to disagree with that. Although I like what Sherwood has said and the way he is conducting himself, I'm not sure he is the future for Spurs.

Well if you lot want Levy out then you need to pipe up <ok>

We had H&G literally dismantling the club in front of our very eyes which was deeply shocking and we started protesting, using cyber warfare, celebs with clout got involved, lawlers and media folk got involved. All elements that could make a difference relentlessly did, and eventually with the help of the courts and numerous individuals, we succeeded.

This may have looked extreme and it is a much worse situation than you find yourselves in, but if you want a change then the only people than can commence that is the fans.

Really Bow?

Personally I think he comes across as an arrogant twat. But each to their own I guess <ok>

Yeah I thought that at first when he was touting for the job, but since then the interviews I've seen he's been honest about Spurs, his own position at the club, and his brown-nosing of Kenny on more than one occasion has been a joy to behold <ok>

Spurs have finished lower than 7th 21 times since 1980 but never finished 1st during that time.<ok>

So this is actually one of your better seasons since 1980.<whistle>

Arguing about League positions is not wise HIAG.
