Spurs have been dull to watch all season, they have been lucky and extremely ineffective infront of goal.

However, I have a horrible feeling that next weekend is going to mark a change in their fortunes. I really hope im wrong

Horrible to watch, I'd say, till the last few games. Man U was rousing. We were sloppy and often poor, but spirited and attacking vs. Fulham, in a fun game, and played excellent attacking football, I thought, for much of the Sunderland game.

Hell, even the destruction by City could be called many things, but dull is not one of them.

Thing is, though, that we've been lucky as a team, whereas you've had Goofy. We can swap our players around (as AVB has been doing, much to the annoyance of many fans), and we're still lucky; whereas, if you lose Goofy, you are royally ****ed.

Jut think how many teams we are going to spank once AVB has settled on his best 11... Jesus! It hardly bares thinking about!

We lost "goofy" for a large part of the second half of last season and the first 5 games of this season and we did fine. AVB hasn't settled on his starting 11 as they're all mediocre and he's having to accept that the £26m Soldado is worse than Defoe

Liverpool have already scored more goals this season than we're likely to score by the end :steam:
If we get a draw i'll be fairly happy. They're better than us at the moment, the fact we are just 3pts behind them is somewhat of a miracle

Sorry, but we are a far better team, man for man, than 'Pool. Okay, so we don't currently have a player of the quality of Goofy - what team does? - but we have several with that kind of potential.

The only reason we are not romping the league is purely down to the vast number of players that have come in. When United, 'Pool, and the others are frantically buying next Summer to rebuild their squads, our new squad will have bedded down rather nicely, and we'll see the mighty Spurs push on. I think, however, that we need to write-off this season, as far as top 4 goes.

Your a defeatist of the highest order.<ok>

I always try to view the cup as being half-full, Kate. It's my nature.

Unfortunately Liverpool do <wah>

And Eriksen is going to lead us to Champions League glory this season. **** not being in it. We should pick a team and just turn up at their matches.

But unlike you, we've had a variety of significant accomplishments recently, including being a better team than Liverpool four years running.

On second thought, that's nothing to brag about.

On third thought you ain't won jack in terms of silverware for a long time, so do your club exist for minor accomplishments or success in competitions?
You had a taste of entering the CL and you think that's the be all and end all, well winning it tastes even better.<ok>

Our club exists for glory. We haven't won any in a long time, which makes two of us.

I must have missed the part where I (or anyone else on our board) said entering the CL was the be all and end all. Or else you just made it up.

At least we're agreed that being a better team than Liverpool four years running is a minor accomplishment. :emoticon-0150-hands

<laugh>

If your "accomplishments" were other than I stated what are they?
