Unfortunately this is true. No delusion here.

Wow! I never thought I'd live to see the day - a Mouser who has rid himself of all delusion.

However, Gaffe - and please forgive my cynicism, as I do not mean it as a personal sleight on you - I will wait until towards the end of the coming season, because I know from long experience that you Mousers are in the habit of slipping back into delusion the minute you manage to string two wins together.

Or the signing of 'the final piece of the jigsaw'. Last year it was to be Borini <doh>

Just a quick message to all you mousers out there on this site;
Return the computer and turn yourself in.

Another Klanfield high earner appears to be heading to Napoli on loan http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23372714 the Mousers really are keen on trimming that wage bill, but have they improved their goalkeeping options with this move.

Hm.

Yet more confirmation that the cheapskate Yanky owners of 'Pool don't have two pennies to rub together. It also corroborates what most of us intelligent pundits were saying when 'Pool first dropped out of the fabled Top 4, that the loss of CL revenue would cost them dear and that it would be a very, very long time before they got back in, and that they'd probably never be a consistent Top 4 contender.

Sad, sad days for Mosuers, but (on the plus side) a step closer to them being ridden of their debilitating delusions.

Sad to say, but I fear that Liverpool fans may once again be reminded that their American owners - both past and present - couldn't give a damn about "soccer" They bought Liverpool to make money. They were somehow convinced that allowing Dogleash & Comolli to run wild with their chequebook would be the answer. Having been badly bitten, they will be very twice shy.

Run us like a business they will - but in this business, CL football is key. The question is whether they understand that.

Initially, I was worried when I saw that, according to the hacks, we have competition for the signature of Soldado, but then I saw that it was only 'Pool who had come in for him, and I am no longer worried.

Perhaps we could palm them off with Dempsey, which would raise funds to help pay Soldado's fee?

A good signing for you he would be.

Too old for our Americans to replace Suarez with.

I'm just so glad that you blew your £35m on Carroll, because it would be far better spent on Soldado (even though he's worth no more than £20m). No way could we compete with £35m; but I believe that there is every chance that Levy will fork out up to £25m for the right striker.

Rumours that Carroll was signed as Llorente was stopped by Bilbao, yes. A great shame.

A top quality striker would transform Spurs. In the Adebayor mold but with greater consistency perhaps.

Pool losing Reina is a blessing for them. He's been awful the last few seasons, but has somehow managed to keep a reputation for being good. Mignolet is far better these days.

Apart from this day...
