<laugh> only haig could **** that Yoda parody up

<doh>
That was the whole point, you complete and utter numpty!

Please, PESKIE, do yourself and us all a favour by imposing an exclusion zone around yourself and anything vaguely witty, because your simplified intellect just isn't built to cope with it.

<laugh> Another backtrack to try and save face.
Everybody knows you make a Tool out of yourself for your own pleasure <ok>

Brendan's son Anton Rodgers has just joined Oldham Athletic from Brighton.

Strange. I thought he was the balding bloke with glasses who was in "Fresh Fields" and played a Nazi in "Where Eagles Dare"?

Back luck, Mousers!

Looks like you'll be stuck with the old war horse until he decides to leave (a bit like Terry with CFC). That isn't good news, because it means that a valuable place in your first XI is being wasted on a player who should, at best, be warming your bench for most of the season. Gerrard wouldn't slip automatically into any of the sides above you (perhaps aside from Everton), which is the major part of the problem that Roy Rodgers faces. When you have a player who is bigger than the club, the club ultimate suffers.

This news must be galling to most free-thinking red Mousers, I should imagine.

Gerrard has been past his best for a couple of seasons now, and will be worse again this season. Still, I would imagine he will be the same old Stevie G in regard to diving, bad tackles and generally getting away with murder on a football pitch.

At least they managed to get rid of their other old crock Cart-horse Carragher, shame they replaced him with another old drug addict.
