I would advise every Mouser to visit London for the day and tour the magnificent sights, such as Battersea, Vauxhall Bridge, The North Circular, Walthamstow, the River Lea Estuary, and the Peabody Estate. You'll have a wonderful and magical time.

I lived in Walthamstow for 10 years. You can tell I don't come from there though as I pronounce the "th" in the name, rather than replace it with a "v". I moved there for the excellent transport connections - really good actually, overground and underground, zone 3 at the end of the line and guaranteed a seat (and right on the aforementioned Norf Circular). Brilliant - basically its a very easy place to get out of. Which is something most residents will probably want to do.

The best bits in Alf Garnet are where he's having a pop at the work-shy Mouser.

What did Alf call him? "Lazy Scouse git," wasn't it?

So true, too.

He was probably one of the consultants on Bread.

I know that this is probably somebody's idea of a joke, but this is claimed as Liverpool's away top for next season:

Classy!

Sorry to hear about Jamie Carragher's retirement at the end of the season, by the way.
He's scored some important goals for us. <ok>

A lot of Tottenham fans come from Milton Keynes. I can see a car park in any city, I don't want to visit a city in a car park

A gay bloke at work was telling me that he loves going to Liverpool on business, as he has devised a way of getting fit young Scouse lads to follow him back to his hotel room.

Superglue in his pockets

Crazy though, if they're true. Genuinely horrible designs. Like a 90s Rover Metro floor mat for Christ sake.

If you mean that they look like they're something you'd wipe your feet on, then I'd agree! <laugh>
The home one's what you'd expect, though and most firms seem to be bringing out weird away kits, so it's expected, I guess.

Saturday's 606 phone in had a THFC supporter on and apprently the word is that Bale would turn down a move to Barcelona or Real Madrid because next year he can win the league with Tottenham and the love of THFC fans is more appealing to him than vast sums of money <ok>

Please let that be true <bubbly>

We can get into arguments about which club in the country has the most deluded supporters based on one fool ringing a phone in but it's hardly an exact science. Every club has them - including yours believe it or not.

If I was Bale I would give Spurs 2 more years because here he is the main man and if Spurs do win something he will be a Spurs Legend. At Barca or Real with Ronaldo and Messi where would he be? As for money with the huge profile he has currently sponsership deals could sort that.
