You mean like in the premiership where no naff team ever beats a good team, they added more teams to make the league stage which means teams have to play more consistantly to win the thing instead of being just a good cup team who could win it with 6 good/lucky games.

To be entirely fair to City it must have been one of the hardest groups an English team has ever had. You wouldn't be that surprised to see Dortmund and Real make the semis at least.
 
As this is a comedy thread according to HIAG. It is guaranteed he will enjoy the irony of several Spurs fans interupting their own match thread to laugh at Liverpool as we conceded two to go 2-1 down. Within 5 minutes of this Evrton scored two to put you 2-1 down. Sure there is a moral in there somewhere.

This thread could have died out ages ago if it weren't for the Liverpool fans coming on here and celebrating being 4 points behind us, goodness knows what you were all like when you were above us on alphabetical order before the season started <laugh>

Being 4 points behind is not in itself worth talking about, but in the context of the "worst start for 100 years" that some people were happy to gloat about then it doesn't seem too bad does it? Especially if THFC capitualate towards the end of the season the same way they do at the end of games.
