yet in the last ten years rbdb, we have been in the cl more than twice as many times as spurs and had two 2nd place pl finishes to spurs best ever of 4th place, i have provided the facts chaps, you can choose to be buthurt or join us here, in the real world, we welcome you all

Villa won the European Cup 34 years ago. Forest won it twice in the 70's. You won the title in the 80's. Leicester have never won anything but the League Cup. Bournemouth are normally in League 1 or 2 but are currently 6 points behind you in the league. So what? What's in the past is the past. If you'd won it last year, it might be relevant. Winning the title 26 years ago and 66 years ago or 106 years ago doesn't mean you are more likely to win it again. Leeds and Blackburn have won it since you did and this year it'll be us or Leicester. None of this means you'll ever win it again or that these clubs won't. Do you see that?
Try getting in the top 6 this season and work up. In a decade or so you might be able to get knocked out of the Group stage of the CL again!

We must look at the facts here Brian, we often look to the past to see our future, history has shown we can learn from our past and progress (no pun intended) failure to do that can lead to perpetual mediocrity as im sure you know being a spurs fan used to winning nothing year after year, i shall look to the past to conclude this post.....

For someone who measures success by trophies alone, Sucky is extremely bothered about Spurs.

Sucky is probably your typical Mouser, a glory supporter who jumped on the 70`s and 80`s bandwagon, had many Pool fans been born 10 years later they would be supporting United instead. It is the default Mouser reaction to repeatedly bang the trophy count drum, these days it is all they have, desperately clinging onto past glories as their club continues to shrink and diminish into mid table mediocrity.

As i said earlier my good fellow, this thread has become the monster that has turned on his master it seems, A parody of its makers perhaps, And i am certainly not here to put you in your place, that would be coming from a better than you perspective and thats not me at all as you know. im only here to offer some unbiased balance to the delusion debate and put some things into context and perspective.
True some of my facts and theories are met with distaste but thats expected, its hard but someone has to do it.
