Could say the same about Brendan and Suarez, but it would be more like biting his shoulder.

You telling me Poch is clued up? He went and played some major minnows in Europe during the week with pretty much his first team, and then plays the same players (near enough) against a fresh Newcastle. A loss was always on the cards. That stinks of a manager that is way out of his depth.

Rodgers did similar, but against Real Madrid you simply don't have a choice.

a zero-wum policy eh?

Clearly not. There's a time and a place. And if they're actually funny.
Pointless jibes about sacking the manager don't lead to anything worthwhile and just descend into slagging matches. Who wants to read that on a match thread?

Clearly not. He's inexperienced.

Which is pretty much what I've said on the match thread. He didn't play the whole team midweek, but enough of it to make a major impact.

Rodgers did similar, but against Real Madrid you simply don't have a choice.

Rubbish. Why did he spend so much money on improving the squad, if the backups players aren't good enough to play at home against Hull or in the previous game against QPR?

My point is no PL game is easy, whereas your midweek game was against uber minnows. Whereas we played arguably the best team in world football. If you can't see the difference then Poch is your man <ok>

No Premier League game is easy, but some are easier than others and playing the same players every week just means that you'll struggle in lots of them.
Gerrard's 92. He can't play 90 minutes every week, especially now he doesn't have Suarez to rely upon and you've got more than just the league to play in.

PNP, as HIAG has said, this thread is for talking about LFC, my comment was in relation to the match you have just had, therefore I don't see why you felt you needed to move it.

Maybe he thought it belonged on here because you may swap managers in Jan?

So, what team do you expect against Ludo?

Due to the importance of the game I expect a strong starting 11?

The group is in the balance, and we NEED a win as they just beat Basel. So it's a no brainer really.

How the hell did we lose to 'Pool? They really are toothless!

They look a different side without Sturridge and have really lost their balance.
They don't seem able to deal with the increased number of fixtures this season, either.

Rodgers out? Real Madrid and Chelsea up next. Needs to do something in those games or the media will start pressuring him.

Real will pull Slippy-G and his mates to the sword, back in Spain. It's going to be as hilarious as it will be tragic.

It sounds like YNWA means You'll Never Win Anything
(comment on BBC Football website)

<rofl>

Right now, Sir_Red is probably wishing he kept his keyboard holstered last weekend.

Nope, I'm not gonna hide. We were ****ing ****e. My comments last weekend were still valid, Poch will be sacked by Levy this season. But then he may be joined by BR too.

I've been saying for ages that Rodgers will get the sack, but he seems to be leading a charmed life.
