    City was even worse - at least against Liverpool they had an excuse of a lack of protection in midfield. Surprised nobody has said AVB playing Holtby as a defensive midfielder is what got him sacked...

    My inner sportsman just went off to hang himself in the attic, though. The conditions weren't great, but the football was really poor.
    Good luck to the BBC on getting a highlights programme out of that tonight. Mike Dean might be in for a bit of a beating.

    But its posters like you that exaggerate our expectations for this season, we hoped for top 4 which will be progress, the stat that most applies to us is that the club thats top at Christmas has never finished outside the top 4 for 17 years.<ok>
