We have always got to remember, of course, that this is the same 'Pool side that got spanked at Klanfield by the mighty Brentford Town. So, a full-scale collapse and bottle-job is only a game or two away.

Watch this space.

Especially with King Kenny in tow, he and spectacular collapses go hand in hand.

Some plastic Mouser from Canterbury just posted this text on the BBC Live footy board:-

"Is it too soon to say Liverpool are back on their perch, Sir Alex?"

The answer to this Mouser's question is, of course, "yes, it is far too early to say that 'Pool are (sic) back on their perch."

I feared this would happen, should 'Pool get a lucky start to the season.

Canterbury? Oh lord, my home town. Must be a student. Couldn't possibly be a local! ;)

It was probably a supporter of another team trying to give liverpool fans a bad name

'Pool look incredibly dangerous against the easy teams.

Thank feck for that, cause they are they teams we usually lose to, or draw with. Tbf dont think it means we are on for top four, but we may get an outside chance of challenging for the fourth spot if some other teams continue to slip up. Think sixth is far more realistic for us.
Despite todays result, think you guys have a very good chance of title this year.
However please stop the media love lfc tripe, When your boys had 'Arry at the helm you were media darlings, and if Suarez had acted like Vertonghen against Chelsea the world would have known about it. The media just try to sell papers, so they will talk about whatever causes the biggest stir.
Personally I cant stand Spurs, but it is out of jealousy as every player you have brought in virtually and I include your boss I would have loved to have seen at Liverpool.
i also think your club is being ran in the correct manner and compare how Levy dealt with Madrid compared to us and say Newcastle, nuff said....
But we are slowly changing round I hope. But as many have you have pointed out we are likely to self implode, tbh it nice to still be involved in top four hunt in October

West Ham just good for a one off or Spurs not show up?

We've got to be prepared for the fact that crap teams like WHU will raised their game against us, and we've got to learn how to put them to the sword.

Our problem today was that Defoe didn't get the ball, and when he didn't he couldn't finish. That's how it's been with him for four seasons, at least, now, in the league. He looks great against Europey League sides that are the equivalent to Brighton or Bournemouth, but he's a complete non-entity against even the shoddiest teams in the Prem.

Liverpool have played terribly this season

Maybe it was Suarez being out but in general the performances have been poor

Not terribly.

We tend to play pretty well for the first 35-40 playing some good stuff, getting the goals, and then waiting for the reaction in the second half and for some reason sitting back.
