If the game was on friday or sat he would have said it was too soon after the away leg in CL. jose is the specialist in excuses. If he fields a weak team on sunday it gives him an extra excuse to deflect from failure if he does fail to win anything.
They've had years of a consistently high transfer and wage budget to assemble a squad capable of dealing with these situations, it's hardly unprecedented. His excuses will fool nobody.
