Can't have done too bad, we were struggling for 4th last year with pretty much the same team now we are 3 points from going top against what most are saying is one of the most lethal team/squad in the whole of the premier league in Man City

You have to admit though, as much as he can come up with some sh!t, he does give some funny interviews. Far more entertaining than Brenden when he just rattles on about being unlucky, dominating the game, put in a good effort, controlled the ball for 80% of the time

That's a brilliant article mind, completely ruins Mourinho.

This happens in football, we get angry over a team just defending, it's frustrating yes but you know teams like West Ham aren't going to Chelsea to get a win. More fool on Mourinho who got his tactics wrong.

West Ham get 100% of shots on target, Chelsea get 23% on target. Stats always show the better team

He's right about City's "luck" this season:

    Sterling's goal
    Tiote's goal
    Dawson's goal & Rose's red card/penalty,

though Etoos foul on Suarez and Ramirez penalty against West Brom should also count towards his "luck".

Premier League: Jose Mourinho says Yaya Toure decision could cause trouble
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho is predicting off-the-ball anarchy after Yaya Toure escaped a retrospective ban on Monday.

Manchester city midfielder Toure appeared to kick out at Norwich striker Ricky van Wolfswinkel in Saturday's Premier League clash at Carrow Road, with the incident missed by referee Jon Moss.

It was therefore referred to the Football Association's new video panel for potential action to be taken, but there was no unanimous agreement from the three former elite referees that is needed for a suspension to be meted out.

Speaking just before the verdict was handed down, Mourinho warned Toure escaping a ban would be taken as a message that players could get away with anything on the pitch if it was not seen by officials

    Mourinho ready for fight

Asked how he would feel if Toure escaped, Mourinho said: "I don't understand why you say 'if'?

"If he's not suspended, the message is clear: the players can do what they want if the referee doesn't see. The message is normally that, if the FA defends football, he'd have to be suspended.

"Of course, I would be disappointed if he is not punished. If he is not, it has to be the same for everyone: if the referee doesn't see, a player can do whatever he wants.

"It doesn't matter about cameras or others seeing, I can do whatever I want. If they make the rule that action can be taken if a referee has missed something, they have to apply that rule."

"If he (Toure) is not suspended, the message is clear: the players can do what they want if the referee doesn't see."

Jose Mourinho, speaking before FA decision on Toure was announced

The decision also means Toure will be free to face Chelsea in the FA Cup fifth round on Saturday.

Mourinho's mood will not have been improved by the panel agreeing to charge Cardiff forward Craig Bellamy retrospectively after he appeared to strike Swansea's Jonathan de Guzman during their 3-0 defeat in the South Wales derby.

As for van Wolfswinkel's reaction, the Dutchman was pleased to see Toure get off the hook.

He wrote on social media: "Good to see Toure not getting suspended. Players like him belong on the pitch! What happens at Carrow Road stays at Carrow Road.

"Things happen on the pitch. But we all enjoy watching him play. So get on with it and enjoy the football. That's what it's all about

Having missed MOTD on Saturday and this kick that has brought the whole game into disrepute, now hearing Mourinho bleating about the injustice and posing the existential dilemma footballers now face knowing they can get away with anything, I decided to check this monumental event on Youtube.

What the **** is he moaning about?

Jose is not wrong. Yaya should be banned. Admittedly, Yaya hasn't really hurt wolfswinkel but then where do you draw the line on what is violent or non violent conduct as his kick was a deliberate action. An outright ban on this sort of behaviour is the only way to tackle it.

if you've one of the video panel in your pocket then you get away with it.

it is ONLY IF ALL 3 AGREE that someone gets a ban... just have one guy in your corner...

Yes but that's hardly the issue. So if Rooney smashed someone in the face with his elbow and the other person didn't mind would that be okay? Or how about a few years ago when Kieran Dyer fought his own team mate i'm sure both would have said they didnt mind so both didn't get suspended, should they be allowed off?

I'm not saying what Yaya did was "violent" per se and what he did wasn't natural and was a deliberate kick even if weak.

What Toure did was wrong and deserved a ban, not going to argue the point there, if that was Suarez, he'd be on the end of a 12 match ban...
However, Jose has no right in saying what he said.. if it was such a travesty against all things sacred in football, why didn't the other managers also comment?
