Impossible to pick any eleven without Makelele he was so good they named the position after him.

I won't post another cross thread which isn't related to another club. I just wanted more people in the debate didn't mean to cause any arguments.

 

That's fair enough mate, Premier League board would prob be a better idea though.

 

I can't believe some are actually trying to argue about Drogba and Eto'o. Eto'o has won alot more in his career and he's a more prolific goalscorer, having scored more goals than Drogba, having played less games throughout his career, what more proof do you need? Eto'o was a class above Drogba in his prime, and he did the business in big games like CL final's. In Drogba's only CL final appearence he was in Vidic's pocket, and as a result he lost his rag and got sent off.

You can't argue for Etoo over Drogba because he's won more Even Macheda would have looked good in that Barca side and won what Etoo did.

 

How's about the Inter Milan side then? Remember, the one he scored for when they beat your double winners and won the CL? Whilst Drogba got himself sent off (again)...

And you could make the same argument about Drogba - even Kezman or Carlton Cole would have looked good in Mourinho's Chelsea side and won what Drogba did. And whaddya know, they did!

How about the fact he has played less games throughout his career, yet he's scored more goals? Will that do you?

 

Etoo is a poacher, Drogba isn't. Doesn't make him better. The fact you've compared Alonso to lampard and said Ashley Cole was **** shows your lack of knowlege and that you're letting your hatred for Chelsea cloud your judgement

 

What do you expect when you post this on the UTD board.

 

How about the fact he's a 4 time African player of the year, in comparison to Drogba only being a 2 time. Will that do you?

Ashley Cole is not as good a leftback, as Chivu or Marcelo.

Whilst Lampard is 1 dimensional, and lacks the all round game of Alonso.

I'm sure most neutrals would back me up, on all my points
