We know Tan has consulted Jose in the past. I wonder how close the two are.

Jose or Russ? What's your view? Not sure Jose would do that well in the championship unless Tan was ready to splash cash big time.

We've seen managers to struggle when they move to a bigger club. Can managers used to big clubs drop down a level?

Not naïve enough to think that this would ever happen anywhere, just interested in views of how successful any 'top class' manager would be at a 'small' club.
 
I don't think Mourhino would cope, he's too used to higher quality players, I'd have thought training sessions would blow his blood pressure through the roof, let alone the match day environment. Having said that, I'd love him to give it a go. :)
 
Why would we want Mourinho when we've got big Russ.

Anyway, Chelsea's league position isn't as good as ours was at this stage of the season under Malky....maybe Chelsea should look at OGS:emoticon-0102-bigsm
