mourinho's lost of cheating is very long. 1. sending out players to deliberately injure others. (see lampard on alonso, see pepe on messi) 2. massaging the suspensions as mentioned above. 3. kicking the ball away himself to time waste, picking up the ball, anything near him and his area is fair game. 4. sending people out of dug outs to provoke barca players into fights 5. kit basket-gate. 6. talking and shouting to get heard to avoid a player like e'tto getting a ban for one thing when he highlights the earlier incident. 7 getting caught tapping up players the list goes on and on and on
He's making diving the issue rather than the form of Chelsea - he wants the media to continue to cover Arsenal and City more. Less pressure. ... And it's working a treat, clearly.
I don't buy that, tbh, I think it's giving him credit he doesn't deserve. Mourinho's always tried to make out that his attention-seeking is a calculated way of taking pressure off his own players but I just think he's so far up his own arse he can't help himself. He'd want to be the centre of attention regardless of the effect, if it was entirely counter-productive he'd still do it.
