Last time this happened Chelsea won the FA Cup under Hiddink... I think. Get your money on that. Looks like their replacement for Mourinho, long term, is currently employed... meaning it's Simeone in my opinion.
Was talking to my mate about this before - they'll come out to "prove a point" and say "Just for Mourinho" but he really could've done with it from August rather than starting after he's gone!!

Not defending them as I think it's disgraceful but you could put PDC in there and we're back in our own glass house . Hopefully, the old saw of 'a bad team doesn't suddenly become a good one overnight' is true in this case and we still find them in disarray
I'm banking on there being a fair amount of discord within the team and them being fairly chaotic on Saturday. Apparently there were handbags on the training field this week.
If Chelsea's players suddenly turn it on, play like the players they have been, and give us a good hiding, they are basically admitting to their employers and fans that they have been intentionally not trying. With that in mind maybe they will wait a few games and then praise the new manager for turning them round.
Never is such a long time TCD . More seriously, point is they've been beatable this season, as there league position shows, and hopefully they still won't be firing on all cylinders tomorrow - especially if there have been cliques of players in the dressing room leading the unrest rather than the whole squad being against him. Who's going to bring the harmony in 72 hours? Still as good a time as any to play them IMHO.
Despite what's happened, I just don't think it will change how Big Sam will be setting out the team tomorrow. It will still be 5 across the back.
