We dont want him to get shown up though surely...this is the thing..I believe a section of our own fans will and do want him to slip up.

Well played Levy..I’ve been very critical of him but I am of the belief that he recognises a man who has the minerals to be as astute as Levy is himself in his profession of choice(finanace and business) and obviously Football for Jose.

That’s real intent from Levy and I see the pattern of his thinking

His biggest pull in joining us he says was the quality of the squad...he’s not wrong.

I’m not saying we are winning anything but I agree with the sentiment that our squad is not as bad as has been made to look due to the environment at Spurs in the last year to which without a shadow of a doubt Poch contributed to by speaking before thinking on many an occasion. I’m not being funny but Jose demands respect and anyone in our squad who thinks they know better than Jose are a set of mugs, deluded mugs. If Jose had said that he will leave if we won the CL...people would get it. 25 trophies tells me this man knows what he is talking about. I think the fact that Poch said it having won zero trophies has affected many of our players. They have spent a lot of time thinking that a manager who has won **** all thinks he’s too good for us...that’s a slap in the face and a kick in the bollocks at the same time. If Jose said that...we would get it...I think the players would get it too.

I watched the training video yesterday...I was feeling his aura and presence and without a doubt the players will do too...he’s a born winner and our players need to embrace it.

So I don’t expect a massive turnover...but I’m confident Jose will be able to add the odd player of real quality by the time the Summer of 2020 is over.

Sky reported last night that there was serious money available for January...no one knows ****...just making crap up as usual I guess.

 

Not being in the CL would make £80m difference to our budget so something would have to give. But I do think that zero spend is not the right answer.
