He wouldn't come I suspect. I think he'll head abroad as Jose will not sell to another PL CL team, he made that clear.

I've never been a fan of Santon but I loved Ba. I'm literally willing this link to materialise.

Why would you want to play Demba wide left - - he is the best of the three mentioned through the middle. No sense putting him of the left as a sort of punishment.

Ba through the middle with Remy left and whichever of HBA or the Gouff is in form at the moment.

(Completely theoretical though as he will never come back and we wouldn't pay his wages - - the reason he left in the first place)

For the reasons already stated plus I personally rate Cisse more - it is just unfortunate that as I write this Cisse has been looking woefully ****! Plus I don't think Remy is going to be here next season.

Don't they still have Van Aanholt? Was more impressed with him in the handful of games we had him than Santon. He's never looked like improving here.
I'd probably take Van Aanholt and £5m. But could see the club taking £6-8m and relying on Haidara and Dummett.

If there is any truth in this, then we should use the money from the Santon sale to buy a new striker.

Cisse clearly isn't the player he initially looked like.

Bringing back Demba Ba could work, himself and Cisse seemed to inspire each other.

More realistic is buying Remy from QPR at the end of the season - he looks class. <ok>

If Chelsea really do want to replace Ashley Cole, which is premature, they are capable of buying far better than Santon and they will.

Mourinho has history with him and respects the player I'm sure but he'll also know the lad's limitations.

Although I quite like Davide it is despite serious shortcomings as a defender...

Oh and trust me Demba Ba will never return to NUFC, the player (and agent) wouldn't do it.
