Both Barca and Real are great clubs, can't get around that. For all the diving and media interference, Barca still have a core principle that is very admirable - La Masia.
The fact that more people are talking about Mourinho than transfer dealings at their own clubs and the release of fixtures for next season says it all. He's bigger than any of their clubs.
That will be their undoing this season. They'll be so focused on what Chelsea and City are doing they'll drop points to teams they shouldn't. Fergie was great at focusing the side, something Moyes never has been. I'll never forget the Lescott to City saga being used as an excuse for the entire team to lose 6-1 at home.
I fail to see how Barcelona are vile. But I guess winning and winning and winning just makes people hate you Look at United, they have so many "admirers" cos they keep winning. I know we've had run-ins but not on this board bucks, people got snotty with me cos I disagreed and as soon as I got snotty back I got banned. The stuff on other boards, it was on other boards and it was at generalised not a singling out of individuals and constantly having a go. Redemption pu lease. I was banned twice, 1st time I deserved it by GM but I don't think I deserved the 2nd, but I am not a mod on here so my opinion of it is worth less than the page it was typed into I guess Worth pointing out that I get into the discussion and the discussion is now about me. not a great start.
I'm not saying that if someone says 'oh... that sisu chap was a dick to me' that we're gunna ban ya are we!? But if you wum on this board and cause a lot of trouble and many posters have problems with you, DL and I will decide on whether to get you banned permanently. But hopefully that won't happen hence we unbanned you!

To be honest i would say Jose coming back to Chelsea IS the biggest thing that has happened so far this close season and it will take something unexpected to top it. The impact he made the first time and the excitement from many because of his return has put him right under the microscope, he needs a good start maybe even more than Moyes does to stop the press from circling.
Yep, we really don't ban people generally and it's a last resort measure. We appear to have good rapport between members. If you take out United numpties, I can't actually think of anyone that is banned, even HIAG isn't now.
An interesting scenario could come to fruition for Spanish football: Barcelona - lose Messi as he is jailed for tax fraud (potentially up to 6 years - personally I believe he is innocent) Real Madrid - already dispensed with Jose Mourinho, Ronaldo transferred to Man Utd Athletico Madrid - Falcao already transferred to Monaco Spanish top 3 lose their talismanic goal scorers and thus all fail to make the last 4 of the CL. The simple fact is that if you take Messi (60), Ronaldo (55) and Falcao (34) out of the equation, these three sides will struggle hugely for goals...that is 149 in total - mental! Just food for thought...
